Newspapers fast turning useless

This report by LC Manager about schools having increased fees sizably in the last 2 years is very real but I see neither Times of India Hindustan Times Indian Express or Dainik Jagaran raising this issue which is affecting many households.

If news papers keep avoiding issues of common people they will soon only be used to clean toilets, windows and eat samosas.

Every member here should stop their subscription if they dont find issues of people not being raised.

I increasingly find general newspapers to be mouthpiece of government (central ot state) and business news papers like ET etc become mouth piece of brands.

When the tide turns it will be pretty fast for these outdated editors more

Politicians and News papers / channels are self help groups . Power and media are the modern weapons. They have nothing to do with interests of public. They know how to use public and their money. Politics and Media are good business models. more
All are these mafi media. Don't show reality. One News shown in different angles on various channels. Boycott them & listen Music. It will down your Blood pressure & stress. more
They are mainly interested in Big Advertisements and earn huge Money. more
Newspapers should report such issues. But their primary job is fair reporting and not grievance redressal more
Schools are trusts, but they are not "Not for profit" organisations. If they are forced to reduce the fees, they will eliminate the facilities and extra curricular activities. Many top schools are managed and owned by politicians and industrialists or businessmen. So it's better, we assess our strength and admit our children, based on our affordability. Finally, only the state government can help this cause by appointing a fee regulation committee, which will decide the fees based on the parameters, the schools offer. more
