Omicron is not mild - see graph attached

If we switch to a log scale, we can better compare the growth rates:

On current trends, patients on oxygen (mostly due to Covid) will soon pass Delta trajectory, and numbers in ICU are also heading up fast (obviously be wary of extrapolating ICU trend, where data/reporting is bumpy) more

I can make a graph better than that to scare and fear comon people. Stop this nonsense of omicron and covid more
There are different views on the severity of this new Omicron. Whatever it be the general public and all the governments should be aware and take all necessary precautions strictly. more
There is something fishy about the data. It appears the graph is plotting all covid positive cases since the discovery of omicron variant, and not those affected by omicron variant itself. I don't see total numbers of omicron infected cases in South Africa at the scale shown in the graph. more
Everybody should follow covid protocol and leave some space to YAMRAAJ to do his pious job. more
Ruchika I am sorry to say you are not keeping yourself abreast with the world wide feedback. yes there are rise in cases no doubt which is still much less than cases like flu cold, dengu,,malaria etc etc. So please do not pick few stary feedback and create a fear. As such people are very must stressed under fear. more
