Ordinance

Some hospitals keep the patients in ICU just to extract money from the suffering family.

The following attachment in Hindi is a request to the government to pass an Ordinance/Bill that there would be no charges if the patient dies in hospital.

Can the government think over it. Seems to be good idea. The hospital will think twice to keep the patient (or dead sometime) in ICU. more

I agree with Mr. Lal, Mr. Rao and Mr. Sharma but some kind of ordinance should be passed now that the BJP and PM Modiji have come into power. If toilets and electricity can be given to all rural areas, why cannot this charge be waived. At least the hospital will try to save a life rather than take what it can from a dead soul. more
I do not think that: 1. it is a good idea to ask for Govt, interference in any busyness operations. 2. It will serve any possitive purpose as Hospitals may refuse to admit a patient with less than 40% chance of recovery or may discharge as soon as they assess non recovery status. Taking into account above views, I think you should reconsider Ordinance idea. RYK. more
I agree those hospitals doing wrong cannot do without some powerful support. Powerful people can be politician, corrupt public servants. We should encourage and publicise good hospitals, like Vellore christian hospital. more
In fact all Hospitals have a Politicians or Senior executives as partners. They are fearless of their misdoings. more
And also keep goons. more
