Pathetic state of Indian Railways
This is the 3A compartment of 12533 Pushpak Express. No place to walk. Even the washrooms are packed with people. Worst situation than a sleeper or general class. No RPF personnel or ticket collector to look into it.

Rails safer than roads. Roads provide feeder service to rails. Both facilitate each other. more

If Roads and Rails are Overloaded, then either we increase their capacities or reduce the Population. more

And ensure high officials get a taste of the reality by disallowing any 1st AC travel on duty. more

Shame! See the potential! No!! The Road Transport Sector accounts for about 87% of passenger traffic, and 60% of freight traffic movement in the country. Urban trains, for example DMRC, transport 1 crore people, daily. See the market. Yet we don't have better trains. more

We should encourage Bus Travel for Short distances. This will reduce load on Rails. For this Fare structure must be equal/competitive. more

Railways should make some plans for people who make travel decisions on short notice, say a day or two. At least a sitting accommodation who travel more than 100km. more
