Pesky Calls Survey

One of the news websites was running the latest LocalCircles survey. They also touched on how private number crack down is must.

My question is whether the telecom regulators and dept are just puppet in hands of the telcos.

If they weren’t they would never propose this idea of charging higher for spammers. Makes no sense.

LC Manager should pursue this till the end. Most of the trai people end up becoming board members or advisors to these telcos.

Govt is not managing conflict of interest properly more

My Impressions: The Government which was Pro Nation is not so any more .This Govt is driven only by greed, it seems to be pro corruption so that the party's coffers are filled to fight next election. It seems to have forgotten that they have duty to perform towards the people who elected them. There was a time that the Babus feared the Govt and PM's authority. This is no more so. more
Yes, regulators are puppets in the hands of operators- be it TRAI, IRDAI, FSSAI, BIS, FDA etc.due to corruption, nonaccountability and to much job security. more
बिलकुल सत्य कहा आपने - किसी भी सरकारी एजेंसी को कोई चिंता नहीं है और उनको शिकायत करने पर भी कोई प्रति - उत्तर नहीं मिलता है more
Yes the government can do so much. But sometimes it feels like only politically gainful items are addressed. The cow vigilantism is atrocious. Many innocent people are victimised. Persons do this crime because they know they can get away with it. Severe punishment would put an end to it. If a prominent person is attacked then the nation will wake up, hold candle light protests etc. same thing with tape. So many villagers and innocent women are victims. We don’t raise a voice against it. No candle light protests!! There are laws but they are never enforced at ground level. more
Glad LC manager is on it. more
