Yes, pollution and covid combination is main reason more deaths in certain states. more
Mass rapid transport systems, dedicated cycle paths, walking, non usage of air conditioners and learning climb upto 4 floors all will certainly bring down environmental pollution. Instead of pointing at the 'Government' as it is something different from us, accusing a third party etc. should stop. It is so easy to give damning messages in social media including this. Let us all try to introspect and changing our life style for the better. If even 10% of those who are commenting here change our lifestyles, we can make a big change. Are we ready? more
Should recommend you to the National team trying to combat Covid 19 for your valuable observations and reasoning. Your such ideas and reporting should not be limited to Localcircles but published through all print and visual media in the nation so that you gain the propaganda that you are looking for. more
Very valid argument. Pollution, until covid happened, has been in India, the silent killer. In the year 2019, the statistic is 1.67 million, or 18% of all fatalities. Pollution puts a load on the lungs, stretching their immunity response capacity making them susceptible to the virus that enters our bodies through air breath. Virus, one may add, has only directed people's attention, with now the affluent who lived within airconditioned confines, getting the attention. Problem solving too has happened as measures for containing one helped the other, such as cleaner air following the lockdown. more
Yes absolutely true. Corona virus is said to use the spike protein to attach itself to the lung cells. The exposure to such hazardous pollution weakens the lung health. And once infected the capacity of the Lung totally loses the ability to thwart and fight the infection. This study should be given wide publicity so that at least people get consciendized about the matter and take sufficient precaution even if administrations are not able to. more
