Pollution impact on reproduction and children

The most disturbing impact of toxic air is the damage to reproduction and children. Fertility is reduced and miscarriages increased by exposure to air pollution.
The unborn are also affected, with a recent study finding pollutants in the placentas that nourish foetuses.
Air pollution is also strongly linked to low birthweights for babies, which has lifelong consequences.
Children are especially vulnerable, the review found, as their bodies are still developing.
Exposure to dirty air leads to stunted lungs, increases in childhood obesity, leukemia and mental health problems. more

Pollution is one of the silent killer. We must try to reduce it. more
We have so much air pollution from cars, trucks and buses on our roads in our residential area that everything inside our house turns black. To make matters worse, some 15 stray dogs roam on our side lane, throwing ticks onto the roads, urinating and defecating thus polluting the area more. Why can't the Supreme Court be more human and allow these canines to live in huge parks. India must be the only country in the world where a dog is treated better than a human citizen. more
Avoid junk food and eat only healthy home food only more
If we de-congest our metro, it will help a lot. If we use 24*7 AC, From society parking to Office parking we use 2000 CC Car. Cut the trees to De-congest roads for car. Then how we expect Pollution free AIR. We need to reduce our luxury style and travel by public transport help a lot to environment. more
The one and only solution is : Lay Hume pipes deep underground alongside the existing nullahs and run the entire sewerage through these pipes into various Sewage Treatment Plants. Close down the nullahs altogether. Dirty smell, gases like Hydrogen Sulfide and mosquitoes will disappear. Hope that the Powers that be undertake this as a Big Project and turn NOIDA into a world class city. more
