Post Covid risks in Children and Adults

This post from Jyotsna is a must read about Covid risks in children.

In addition I also want to share that someone in the family who is a Doctor in Mumbai and seen 100+ post Covid cases is saying we need to study the link between "Delta", post-Covid diabetes & pancreatic damage, and mucormycosis to understand the link and blood glucose monitoring of post Covid patients must be made MANDATORY.

Can LocalCircles escalate this to the Government? more

Its a well known fact that excessive administration of glucose in a patient's body during hospitalisation ultimately results in increasing the blood sugar level over and above the specified limit making the patient a diabetic for his or her rest of life. From the post Covid patients rushing to hospitals with mucormycosis, it was found that the life risk disease is the result of the oxygen provided to the patients while suffering from Covid. Therefore, the specified precautions must be followed by strictly by all post Covid patients. Apparently, the medical world is still in dark in determining the possible after Covid sufferings, which could risk the lives of the patients. more

Why doesn't the adult population understand the need to prevent the covid spread by following the prescribed protocols and get vaccinated as soon as it is available to them? Why can't they ensure that the children also follow them? It is the wayward youngsters and many adults who think that nothing will happen to them, is keeping the virus virulent and actively spreading. more
Why only children. Anyone who does not follow the simple guidelines set by the government will be affected by the virus. more
The public at large should be prepared to face any danger, which may arise in case of a third wave. more
