Practical Contributions......

Our country, while being rich in past culture and civilisation, is today also perhaps the richest in what we call "superstitions". But superstitions together with religion-based myths and taboos actually make us extremely poor slaves of our own selves. Millions are donated in thousands of temples every day, making those very people rich who are responsible for poverty of the ignorant, the superstitious.

Flower and coconut, the "chaddars", the "rumaals", which are offered to deities make several rounds in a day. Yet, we prefer to believe that "my" offering is unique.

Strange also is that businessmen donate large amounts of money to mandirs, which are already rich. Their money is needed more .....

for building schools and educating children, for feeding the poor, for helping the physically challenged, for supporting the orphans, for old people who do not have families any more, for supporting our farmers.

A true feeling for philanthropy is needed in our country to help raise it to level up with the developed nations.

Not everything should be left to and expected of the government. more

No doubt certain aspects concerning humans must come from every or at least 50% of the citizens . Hail Gods and worship places , but reserve a good portion to uplift the ones we see on every day. They are : * our own domestic help * then the others doing the menial jobs around the house . Pay the school fees , book costs , Uniform costs , bus fares etc. * next when one ha ceates time for the less provileged / hungry without shelter / without cloths : How do you do the last one ? * The old used clothes to be washed and ironed and given to the ones who need . This can extend with your neibour joining you. * Take over orderd food in the restaurants , pack them bring home , if the watchmen is awkae give , otr kep in the fridge , heat it next morning pass on to the needy . [ It is a little difficult to find such comming at door steps . Note down places where such live on the streets. - ] more
Religion and praying places like Temple, Gurudwara,Mosque, Church or Morgue are never bad. It is the runners of such institutions who indulge in corrupt practices and corruptions. Humans are good and humans are bad. We cannot generalise and say that all are corrupt. more
Charity improves health invisible. Charity given in temples does help the needy. Yes the ratio is negligible. But it energises the donor. Donor feels internally that this is my security tax for moving on t he planet Earth. It is a matter of FAITH. And if FAAITH is snatched from human beings, nothing but animal will remain and animals live in forests, not in civilized societies. Moreover, philanthropy cannot be taught, I feel. It is ab original. more
The overriding by Executive Committees having Corrupt Conduct IS THE ROOT CAUSE OF ITEM CIRCULATION , Misappropriation. In fact, there could have been many Educational , Healthcare and, Temple Developments Simultaneously . EVEN NOW, THE GOVERNMENTS SHALL RESTRICT THEMSELVES in intervening with Religious Temples BUT, SET ALL RELIGIOUS TEMPLES , MISSIONS AND TRUSTS FOR Statutory mandating Internal Audit by those institutions . It is identified that in major Temples etc., Christians including those converted into Christianity ; Muslims are being Employed by Government' s POLITICAL INTERFERENCE AND , IMMEDIATELY TO BE CURBED . more
