Prevalence of financial frauds

Several news papers in Mumbai yesterday carried this LocalCircles survey on financial fraud.

I did not realise that almost 15% of us are experiencing it every year with someone in family facing it.

Frankly what needs to change is the redressal by banks and LocalCircles must escalate to RBI they bring rules that make banks more responsive.

For all fraudulent calls, immediately block the caller, then switch off mobile. List out the number and send to cyber security🔒 more
Chandradatta sir what you said is not correct, if any body had an severe injury on hand or a leg for long period so cutting the hand or leg is not the correct solution. First of all since 2019 in our india these type of fruad calls and cyber crimes were drastically increased but from government side no efforts were taken to curtail. First of all government has to take serious action against Network Providers because of they are providing the numbers to market. Real culprits are network providers. more
It is beyond the thoughts of the consumers, per day minmum 10 to 15 calls /messages are coming to each mobile number on an average. more
Asking for government to do things is like living in a socialist country. Government is not the solution for all the problems. To protect self from cyber crime is as much consumer responsibility. more
Sir these old the senior official of bank hack the dormant high value customer account invest in insurance and mutual funds that to in Insurance for 100 years life long without proper nominee unless the customer is watchful these professional misconduct is rampant my own personal case is proofs when bring it to nodal team or compliance team no action hand in glow our countries tradition of honesty integrity and accountability among the so called professional senior official is lost which is dangerous for banking system reply more
Not an expert in this field but I think if you suspect a fraud call, immediately disconnect your mobile data/bluetooth application so as to avoid hacking. more
So far no serious action was initiated by the Govt. such unethical practices will continue. So far had we found someone who got arrested and faced a serious punishment for such frauds? Perhaps very rare or none. So why unemployed youths will not feel safe to get themselves engaged in such activities and earn good money? Such activity can't be carried out by an ordinary & uneducated person can do? No doubt, Banks are equally responsible and not so serious to stop such crime, RBI must initiate action against such financial institutions whenever finds at fault. It's a serious matter now and crime is on rise. more
