Privatisation of Railways
Rails must be privatised, partially, if not fully. Some routes must be chalked out and initially each train can have 1 or two coaches leased to private companies. They may charge the clients as per the norms and can provide world class facilities like wifi while travelling, food, drinks, movies etc. Railway will get revenue through the leased coaches. Gradually, by increasing the number of private coaches in train, whole trains can be privatised. more
