Product Defects and Service Quality of Apple

Today Apple is launching its stores in India and I cant help but think of the Right to Repair discussions on LocalCircles so repairs of Apple devices becomes affordable.

Surprised that amongst all the ra ra on how great Apple is Government is not even talking about right to repair with apple and that it needs to make repair and service affordable.

Can LC Manager please escalate this consumer ask. Last 3 phones I have had were apple and none lasted more than 3 years. Is that what it is supposed to be a 60000 rupee phone lasting 3 years. Annual phone expense of 20000 more

So does someone says you can't repair? I have never heard of such a thing. Why is this on this list serve any way?? more  
India is all for corporate world now.The idea seems to be that if they make pots of money something will trickle down to the masses! more  
Ms. Shikha has pointed to an earlier local survey post on 'right to repair' which seems to have been forgotten. I would also urge Local Circles to take this up with the government. more  
Since made in india products cost should come down by more than 15% more  
people having paid so much amount for a status of owning an iphone should demand that it should be repairable maybe one may not need it but that option should be there and made available now that apple store has been inaugurated. more
