Pulling back dangerous unsafe products

The Bureau of Indian Standards or CCPA must be hiven authority (if they dont have) to pull any dangerous and or unsafe products from selling in the market and use by consumers.

These attached very well demonstrate how Ola electric scooters are extremely unsafe as per these videos and someone needs to order a pull back from market.

So many brands take Indian consumer for granted and there are no designated bodies for pulling back such products in market be it scooter car gesyer helmet or microwave.

Everyone i request u to share views. My mother 10 years back had a pressure cooker burst on her in Kanpur. These things change people’s lives in unimaginable ways and Govt must regulate them
accordingly. more

There are so many checks....like ARAI test, Battery test & certification by third party, Insurance company audits....nothing working? Only missing part is third party safety check???? On Sun, 27 Mar 2022 14:33:10 +0530 Aditya Saxena wrote > more
It is because of following in my personal experience and opinion (1) bearable cost problem by all levels of income group (2) manufacturer choose more customers by producing low quality products (3) wrong choice of upper income group (4) example: some restaurants attracts thousands of customers by selling eatables at marginally low affordable cost viz. Single idly at Rs. 3-4 which will serve 000s customers daily. (5) whereas some hotels serve only high income people by selling same idly at Rs.30-35. (6) here if SlNo.5 goes to SL No.4 hotels, we cannot blame producers of for sub standard quality, unhygienic, etc. (7) again if SlNo.4 goes to SlNo.5 hotels, cannot blame unbearable cost (8) the above are due to economic conditions and daily earning capacity. (9) DUE TO ALL THESE, THE BUSINESS COMMUNITIES ARE TAKING UNDUE ADVANTAGES BY SELLING SUB STANDARD PRODUCTS whether you belongs to SL.NO.4 or SL.NO. 5. THE GOVT AUTHORITIES bound to work for people are also taking UNDUE INFLUENCE and becoming super rich, instead of regulating the business community. more
A strong action as suggested by Mr. K..C..Rana is needed. more
Instead of pulling back, all sub-standard/duplicate products including medicines/cosmetics/eatables be confiscated and the manufacturers/retailers be fined heavily and put behind bars for life. The people playing with the lives of hapless consumers should not be allowed to go with minor punishments. Calling back health hazard products is no punishment. more
Couldnt run taxis properly, couldnt make scooters properly, wont be able to deluvery grocery either. Greedy investors will learn an expensive lesson. more
