Purge in politics

Politicians are busy in there own affairs ans securing seats. Statements are made by different ministers other than concerned and if concerned minister, talks of irrelevant matters than related with subject. Environment Minister is not doing anything but to thrash Delhi Govt & talking of Odd Even not a effective one. It is true that measures required need to be comprehensive by several ministries & State govt.s for a long period. In view of substantial work & efforts required, he has not done any thing and chose to be on news channels just for nothing.
Apex court last week called for personal appearance of Chief Secretaries of 3 states & instructed them to take effective steps on stubble burning, continuous power supply to NCR cities to avoid operation of DG sets etc. They have failed and farmers burnt more Prali in adjoining states. DG sets are to operate several times in a day for long hours due to power cuts. Central Govt. seat is at DELHI and adjoining states of UP & Haryana are ruled by BJP as at centre as if Central Govt. has to function in polluted atmosphere and states have not to observe Central Govt. requirements and directions of Apex Court. Purging of Govt. authorities at all levels is need of hour. All BJP govt.s are after AAP to secure DELHI Govt. to spoil situation further by them directly. It will enable them to make frivolous statements understandable by them only. more

Neither Supreme Court nor Cheif Secretaries can do anything till the time all concerned politicians are sent to jail for the rest of life. They keep an eye on winning the next election - what come may. They will or even the opposition parties will incite the farmers or other contributors to pollution to protest and lay siege pof rail tracks/roads. The police works under the local politicians and acts as per their whims and fancies. more
80% of our voters in India are uneducated and rest are uneducated educates. All politicians are well aware that before the elections give them sweet meat by the word of mouth (Voters are easily carried away which is fact). After the elections are over NO body will seen their constituency. All will be sitting at home least bothered about the voters who actually voted for them. Funny part of our country is that all IPS, IAS, IRS, IES, IFS Officers have report to them who have hardly any education background. Surprisingly Defence also has to report to them. Coming to the point, Pollution in Delhi is common issue which has developed badly with in past few years ( It only happens during the month of October/November). Now is it the only job of Delhi Govt. to take care of the Pollution Control. HE does not stay in India hence least bothered. Can't other Political Parties join hands together and think of some solution to it. If the Govt. in the Center cannot take care of Delhi better shift their offices to any other UTs in India. As such Delhi has become over populated. more
The only solution is legislation to maintain pollution level within control. more
Yes. Even the MP of the worst affected Delhi, is busy with commentary and IPL rather than attending the parliamentary committee on pollution and environmentalprotection more
The Apex Court should directly intervene in the matter at its own and issue necessary directives to the state as well as central governments to immediately take necessary action to stop pollution of the national capital by external causes of intentional misdeeds. If the governments fail in discharging their duties in offering healthy atmosphere, the primary minimum requirements, to the citizens, they have no moral rights to continue in their offices and the Court should directly dismiss all such governments in exercising their special powers. Probably, this is the ultimate action the Apex Court will need to initiate in the coming future if these governments continue to display their worthlessness in protecting the citizens' lives ! more
