Pvt vehicles going off road info

There are some media outlets falsely publishing that EPCA chief Bhure Lal ji said private vehicle may be taken off Delhi NCR roads by friday if things worsen.

I can say first hand this is misleading info published by media. He never said this but said odd even may be enforced along with other measure. more

Due to huge increase in salary/perks after 6th & 7th pay commissions, the number of private vehicles has gone up considerably. Even class IV employees are having sedan cars what to talk about others ? There is no parking space in office complexes or in residential areas. Even the footpaths and parks are choked with cars. The Govt. should make rules for buying private vehicles to check ever increasing air pollution and reduce import of crude oil. more
Dear Rana ji,
We should be happy if Class IV employees can afford a Sedan car. I wish if each and every unskilled labour in the country could afford it improving his living requirements.
A vehicle is not a luxury as being projected by the government and influential people including political leaders who never promote the criteria of Equality in the living conditions with self-sustainability. In need if a person uses own vehicle it will not cause any pollution. Pollution could be controlled by many ways where governments and concerned agencies have been failing since long. Government should attempt to eliminate the reasons of such failures and set it right. more
The media in our country is mostly owned by foreigners and they are full of communists of different red hues, They write all kinds of falls news and statements. more
Pollution control authorities can not ban on the farmers, who are putting the crops under fire ??? Old Vehicle may be responsible, but not solely responsible. more
Any pollution control measure should be based on least damage to existing structure and habits and maximum positive impact. However, I do think that stubble burning "habit" is doubly wrong. It pollutes the air and reduces the fertility or at least reduces the impact on fertility of soil if the stubble could be made into compost more
