re: Cleaner Trains

Before asking Railways maintain the trains clear, I request all fellow Indians to follow the followings.
1. Don't use the toilets in the stations, when the train stops,
2.Don't litter the railway stations.
3.Don't litter the rail-coaches.
4.Don't allow fellow passengers litter the above.
If we follow the above , 50 % of the cleanliness will be maintained at the trains and stations.

The Railway ministers/railway higher Officials shall be made to travel in all trains. They should be compulsorily travel in trains only, to know the state in which the rains are running in India. Because, they travel by Air, and don't know the real state of affairs of Indian Railways. more

Ratio between berths in all classes, overall number of births in a train to the number of passengers are widening day by day resulting over crowding, dirtiness, corruptions in procuring tickets. So development in infrastructure like increase in no. of railway tracks, increase in no. of trains with more frequency either in same route with the introduction of speedy train or in a different routes for two same destinations and if possible then introduction of double decker train etc etc are in very very needed on the card. more  
Often we find that the waste bin beneath the wash basins get filled up in a couple of hours this results in trash being distributed all along the route and also on stations. Frequent cleaning of the waste bins may be at 2/3 hour interval may help. more  
Valid Point Nandakumaran Paruvakat. Agree with Sunndar Naidu but who will bell the cat ? The main problem for the dirty trains are the passengers themselves. We do not have a sense of public hygiene unless some awareness and penalty is imposed it is difficult to keep the trains clean more  
Railways can develop an automatic lock for the toilets to lock toilets when trains are in stations (using remote control located in the stations) more  
If I be given an option by Hon Prime Minister and Hon Railway Minister to implement two procedures for improving railways,I would say: I would suggest all the burocrates to travel in mail or express train and try to reach the destination in time.... good luck more
