Recruitment Corruption in IT companies

So apparently recruitment managers was taking commissions or rather bribes from recruiting agencies in a company like TCS and to the tune of 100 crores. TCS is a Tata company.

It is well known that many many Training and Placement officers of private colleges bribe recruiting managers to come recruit at their college.

The onus here is on corporates for weak corporate governance. What if the scam in one company becomes 10000 crores and shareholders get wiped out. Why is SEBI not fixing corporate governance??? more

This practice was in existence since long. Private institutes had been luring the corporates to offer employment to the students and sometimes such agencies work as middlemen. Such practice was begun to display the institute's strength and build a brand image though such employments are mostly for a short period. Govt is totally inactive and not serious even to address such issue to maintain the standard of Corporate Governance rather busy in political activities to gain power by hook or crook. It's truly a disturbing environment in job market and people will lose faith on credentials of academic & professional institutions. this is really an alarming sign for the youth. more
Shocked to note the news of corruption creeping into Tatas bluechip company TCS. I am sure the new CEO bring all the corrupt employees into books and sack all of them which will be eye-opener for all Tata companies besides all others. We talk about corruption in politics but astonished to note this incident in corporates especially in Tatas. Basically we humans are responsible. There is no end to greed. None realises that we don't take anything with us after the last breath. So what is point in amazing wealth by illegal means. Realisation is the answer. more
Luckily this scam of corruption has been found out. There are hundreds if not thousands of organizations where recruitment corruption is rampant and this because of job lessness. Thousands of youngsters are vying for one vacancy and somehow they try to find out-where does the manager stay, what does he prefer and all personal details. Then the game of "laalach" starts- Sir, the candidate will give you gold coin, or something of that sort and finally comes to money. It is very tempting and there is no record, no paperwork, so people slip. I was offered gold which I refused because I was a "principled guy". But this happens almost in all big organisations. more
But the good thing is that TCS sacked the corrupt. Very rarely this happens and is commendable. more
