REFUND RULES

WHY NO REFUND CAN BE CLAIMED FOR MISSED TRAIN , WE CANNOT FILE TDR OR CLAIM ANY REFUND IF WE MISS A TRAIN FOR ANY REASON AS RULE SAYS TO FILE BEFORE 24 HOURS , OR EVEN FOR DELAYED TRAIN FOR MORE THEN 3 HOURS ,99% THEY SHOW DELAY OF 2.50 HOURS THOUGH ACTUALLY IT IS MORE , & TO CLAIM REFUND AGAIN WE HAVE TO FILE BEOFRE 3 HOURS OF TRAIN DEPARTURE !!! HOW WOULD WE KNOW DELAYED TIME FOR LONG DISTANCE TRAIN WHIHC LEFT PREVIOUS DAY FROM ORIGIN ??? ALL THESE ARE LOOPHOLES ONLY TO LOOT US more

Current reservation is available.why they are not allowing TDR more
Last year we missed the connecting train (Vande Bharat)at Bilaspur because our train got delayed by about 6 hours at Katni. The normal layover between the trains was 3 hrs. I painstakingly intimated IRCTC customer care (before the scheduled departure time 7 AM) by email in the running train that we would be missing the connecting train due to delayed previous train. Still they have outrightly refused my TDR request even after follow-up 2-3 times later. If the train gets delayed beyond 2 hours or so, railways should give full refund for missing the connecting train. Passengers should not be harassed for no fault of them! more
more
All the countries in the world try to help passengers to get a refund for any Genuine cause. Indian Railways are doing the opposite. Let them have a look at German Train WEB Page DB and they would know. more
This is how govt fleeces customers for their schemes with no one to check them LC should do a survey and send feedback to the concerned ministryAlso lot of issues with the railways and our PM only thinks of vande bharat and does not give any importance to the general category of people. more
