Remember BA.2 H78Y and stay cautious

The world miscalculated Delta, BA.1, BA.2, and tragically I don’t expect us to get BA.2 H78Y right! Even the name is wrong because vaccine makers have started making Omicron vaccine so WHO babus wont call it something else.

BA.2 H78Y is sending out the most disturbing trend lines in Denmark while the world is *relaxing* restrictions! This is Orwellian! We are now promoting spread!

I dont know where else to raise this alarm so the Govt listens so doing it here. LocalCircles please so your bit. more

Yes Umesh Kumar we do have to protect at risk people, but that does not mean that we shut down the world. People have to work to produce the goods and services for the rest of us to live on. So much of Covid is an evil deed of China and political gain for power from the big powerful nations like USA. more
Mr RN Dash you must not depend on your daily work for your income or are a government employee. For you to make this sort of blanket statement is very careless and not well thought out at all. I have seen the proof and the studies now, that there is no difference in Covid related infections and DEATHS in places locked up or open. So destroying economy of India based on silly notion is not what you should be promoting. Just so you know my husband who is 70 years old and had covid and I also had Covid before vaccine came out and are doing fine. more
There is no need for any alarm. It looks like your perception to protect yourself is by staying indoors and locked in a room. There was a research in 2018 which showed that a virus released in one place can travel up to Troposphere and can then cross continents. So, none of the measures work including lockdowns, masks (as virus diameter in nanometers is way smaller than pore size of even N95 mask which is in micrometer.) Masks have other adverse health effects so masks should not be worn by health people. The only thing which is proven to help from our ancestral times is good immunity and good health which is obtained from right nutritious food (raw fruits and vegetables) and regular exercise. more
There is no evidence that mask and social distancing will protect others. We should follow science rather than Government propaganda. Is there anyone from Government or its scientific institutions ready for scientific debate on this topic? Lets evaluate what real science says. Let this be public. more
We still have to protect others having less immunity, than ourselves. Masks and social distancing are absolutely necessary to protect others, if not ourselves. more
Government did provide the vaccinations that has saved us from many times more hospitalisations and in several cases, deaths. Lockdown, however too was imposed by this government, that proved ineffective insofar as people have to come out for carrying out their sustaining activities. Not everyone had a buffer available to stay at home and wait out the lockdown. Environment has improved proving how our human activities are intensely polluting. Never does nature cause pandemic, see how other species inhabiting our planet remained absolutely okay. So given the lessons learnt whether being cooperative, or the affluent taking stock of their consumerism, we can see that how we must reflect too, rather than deeming all augury as natural catastrophe. more
