Request to local circles
I trust local circles a lot more than I trust railways as far as surveys go. The way people have been taking feedback in train tells me its totally biased.
Can I request local circle to do polls on what has changed in last 3 years as far as the following areas go:
1) do passengers feel safer
2) are trains cleaner
3) are stations cleaner
4) do they trust railway ticket pricing more or less
5) are trains on time more or less
6) do stations have better services and facilities
7) has vip/emergency quota become available to aam aadmi
this should be on same lines as local circle 3 years survey was done on govt.
hope members of circle support me and local circle accepts this request?

My opinion are as: Slno 1-No comment., Si no:2- Express trains are cleaner, Sl no :3- Some Stations are cleaner, Sl no :4- Ticket pricing is lesser with respect to developed countries. Sl no; 5 -70% of local trains are in time & 60 % of Express Trains are in time. Sl no -6: 30% Stations are now equiped with better facilities. Of course there are lot of improvements taking place. First thing advance reservation server speed has been improved drastically. Thank you. In southern states train timings. Of arrivals/departures taken care almost. Most of the stations kept neat and clean. There is no doubt about it. In most of the trains running water provided in toilets. Public awareness is not there in using bio toilets. This may take time. Public announcement may be made in Railway stations. Reserved coaches are being utilised by unauthorised traveling public and TTE is unable to control them especially. North bound trains during night journeys after, Vijayawada. &Hyderabad. RPF is also helpless. I myself have been forced to travel. About tjree months ago on another person's name from HYD TO MUMBAI DADAR. And Mumbai CST TO MADGAON while we went on tour with a group of 40 members . The TTE not at all verified the ID cards. NO BODY ASKED FOR ID verification.sorry to say this.Ihave questioned my tour organiser also why should I travel with bogus reserved berths. Accidents, major or minor, derailments has to be taken care. But over all Ican say that more and more improvements are taking place. Today we were going to Aurangabad from New Delhi station by Sachkhand Express its shedule time was 1:20 pm When we went to station we came to know that Sachkhand Express is 8 hours late We have to come back to lodge with our luggage This inconvenience can be avoided by just sending one sms to passengers Ajit Wani more

The Railway board should be first scraped and in its place alternative decision making system needs to come for Railways betterment. more
