This is why , Supreme Court also confining to keep away from Reservation . Though its decision of Reservations not to comprise more than 50% ; and ; though Dr. Ambedkar also set restrictions to Reservations to keep and carry with a reasonable minimum percentage for a short period . The Presidents of the Country have been approving the Reservations set by the States addressing the whole caste without identifying those Socially and Economically carry better Status till now without even referring to the Supreme Court at the National and public interest . Unless the President of the Country is endowed with individual Powers to refer and prevail Justified carry of the Constitution , we cannot be guaranteed by any Governing Body in India . more
Exams for scientist is conducted based on reservation but the proportion for each category varies than other government sector. General category people will be given more opportunity, if they fail OBC and next those reservation seat will be filled by the SC/ST other than reservation given to these categories. Most of the vehicles sent by the Indian scientist carries foreign satellites for which the foreign countries pay a reasonable amount to India other than Indian fund this would reduce mot only Indian government expense but also every countries contribution in scientist field. more
it's not reservation but a caste feeling while working , a feeling that you are in a group which is superior to you and associated complex, which puts individual to damage others. more
This same thing is true for IITs also. They were top of the world institutions because there was no reservation and no nepotism. Reservations without consideration for merit makes things go wrong. It is demoralising for all when a person of lower calibre gets promoted or preferred. Merit linked reservation where the there is a certain handicap given to the reserved category people is the only solution. If open category admissions close at 80% reserved category persons with (say) 15% lower marks can get admission. more
Yes Sir you are right. We should do something to get rid of reservation But how? more
