Saving Rivers

Several experts and now Sadghuru say we need a policy that established that wherever there is Government land around water bodies, forests be created and wherever there is private land, horticulture crops be planted.

If there are trees adjacent to rivers and there is vegetation, it will hold water and rivers will be replenished.

Can this circle take up the cause and get the right policies formed?? more

De-forestation is biggest cause for water shortage.Some greedy govt officials allows Tree to be cut in the name of Road widening, Fly-overs, Metro Rail, Highways, why Govt is keeping silent in this matter. Why not buy the machinery by states to relocate the Tree. Some activist are there to save Trees, but they are also not effective. To best of my knowledge, a Tree when it gets Cut, govt gets official revenue of rS. 3000 TO 10000/-, But everyone knows the Log fetches not less then lakh plus, the rest money is divided between Politician, Forest Officials and Contractor. Cool Business, No scam reported yet, but it is a big scam. more

Recently in Times of India or rather I should say yesterday or day before an article said that if Ice bergs in Arctic and Antarctic melt India right up to Utter Pradesh will be under water ,Whole of Bangladesh will be under water ,Whole of Europe will be under water ,Parts of North America ,Africa,South America will be under water.ONLY ANTIDOTE is Tree Tree Tree Tree and lots of Tree and ti bring don the pollution level caused by emission .As Madam Sajida Khan rightly pointed out Sadguru takes initiative in this regard and through his various post advises one and all to take of the Planet Earth .He and his Ashram has planted millions and millions of tree in southern India .Gentleman has a excellent mesmerizing English he speaks simple he speaks straight and I am just fascinated with him.Hope this Forums posts his video for every one to listen.Sadguru has nothing to do with Religion when it comes to people from various walk of life but he guides Humanity in own unique way. more
