Not only the school uniform loot, state Govts and education boards need to quickly attend to the issue of school fee increases.

Why cant we demand like 7-8% or at max a 10% cap annually. Schools are increasing 15-25% in many cases as survey is stating and I am seeing this exact thing for both my children here in Hyderabad.

Health and education must be in the hands of government not in private hands more
compundind rate hike for schools . Now 3000 /month when child is in clas 3 , by the time he goes to class 12 . he will have to pay 9 lakh /annum. where we are up to . god save . new govenrment pl set up some regulatory earliest and no increase for 3 years is a minimu condition from now on . and if there is any incraease after 3 years it should be not more than 5% more
There is no regulatory body to check what facilities are being offered by schools. Neither do the teachers and other staff get paid handsomely, as they claim. No idea where all the money the schools are getting is going. Educating even one child has become a headache. Privatization of education has led to this situation. Earlier schools got grants from the government and they were not allowed to increase fees indiscriminately. more
There should be a regulatory body for the private Schools to control important affairs like school fees, uniform fee, transportation fee, books & stationary etc but unfortunately no such authority to make any control... mostly schools belongs to bureaucrats , ministers and Govt influencing persons then who will & why will take actions ..? more
It's true ...concerned authorities should take adequate steps to prevent more
