Should India agree to RCEP
If India signs up to regional economic co-operation program, import duties will get cut on many many items coming from china, australia, newzealand. Consumer will benefit as prices of goods will drop but domestic industry will get killed.
In case of Dairy prices of milk will drop to less than half but farmers relying on milk supply as livelihood will loose it.
What should India do. LC should do polls if appropriate and guide Govt.

In economic parameter we are no where near China.We have to understand our position and then only take any drastic step.Do not copy cat what America has done with China,we can also do the same.Both are Giants in economic level. more

1. RCEP is intended to serve the People of different Regions sustain with reasonably priced products that include Essentials and Luxuries. It is the duty of every Country to decide on the issues of Luxuries for IMPORT.
2. FURTHER, RCEP helps every Country grow in Productive Economy utilizing its Natural Resources which indeed are the Wealth for that Country.
3. In this process the issue of Raw-material Cost Manufacturing Cost Utility and its Use in the Country PLAY THEIR IMPORTANT ROLES and, the Export of Raw Material ; Capital, Skill required for Manufacturing are involved which NEED FOREIGN TRADE AND INVESTMENT TOO.
4. IT IS TRUE that every Country shall grow with its own Wealth for making use of their Natural Resources WHICH IS MOST IMPORTANT. This tenders equal participation BY CITIZENS , AS WELL AS THE GOVERNMENTS.
5. HENCE, INDIA MUST COMPULSORILY ENFORCE Article 39 - b and c in addition to 31 A BOOSTING UTILIZATION OF ITS NATURAL RESOURCES AND FOREST PRODUCES .
India shall impose Sealing on Wealth of Individuals ALLOWING TAXED WEALTH OF INDUSTRIES . The most important issue here is that INDIA SHALL NOT ALLOW WEALTH INCREASE OF ORGANIZATIONS WORKING IN MARKETING SECTOR.
Make in India ; Improve Production in India ; Skill India ; as programmed by the BJP lead NDA shall compulsorily be mandated STATUTORY AMENDING THE CONSTITUTION together with REGULATING CORRUPTION CONTROLS PROPOSED . more

Just like USA has initiated trade war with china india must start the same. Today every indian house whether it is middle class or upper class is equipped with one or multiple numbers of Chinese articles which is really destroying indian manufacturing system. At the same time india must encourage indian production/manufacturing system. I have shared many times in past how to boost up the indian manufacturing system. more

India manufacturing base of essential items is much lesser than the requirements. We even import steel from China. We import crude. Our cost of production is not competitive with Chinese inputs. Lot needs to be done on Manufacturing & Agriculture costs. more

Whether Indian exports to the group countries will increase? What are the items which we can export to these countries? A through analysis of the overall situation has to be studied in detail before agreeing to open up our market. Already the balance of payments is hugely in favour of China and by opening up it will be more so. Therefore so long as other countries, especially, China is getting advantage and we are at a disadvantage the arrangement should not be done more
