World over Sr Citizens are given benefits, if withdrawing the benefits then first all travel benefits to MLAs, MPs, Ministers , railway officials etc should be withdrawn, only till they are in office, Parliament / Assembly. more

The class of people you mentioned are the people who make the law and break the law. Have you ever seen any news item about these people forego their one week salaries even when assemblies and parliament were shut during Covid19. They simply enjoy their 5 year term. Even if they loose their seat the get life long pension even if elected for one day. A common government servant has to put at least 30 to 35 years of service to be eligible for pension. more

Government has done huge!!!!!! for Senior citizens like bringing down Bank interest rate (only earning for most of the SR Citizens). What's more we can ask from them except for 70 year long Bhashan. more

Withdrawing benefits of senior citizens is not justifiable. What justification government has extending benefits to politicians MP,MLA and others. These people be paid their monthly salary and once 5they demit, their benefits to be stopped. more
