What are the best uses of STUBBLE & It's cost. Farmer selling the grains to Govt. Organisation or Private are well aware how much stubble will form from 01 kg. / 01 ton of Grains he or she is selling. more
n South India, the stubble is buried/composted aiding to fertility of soil. Wonder why is it being burnt ? ( It would further help if the region switched from wheat to millets which provide better nutrition in smaller quantities and consumes lesser resources ). more
Stubble burning is an age old practice! Nobody knows or tried to find out actually what is contributing to the pollution. Interested people blaming one thing or the other. Some factories deliberately release pollution. But no one will speak about them. more
