1. Small companies which are in service industries which employ unskilled or semi-skilled people-should be exempted from minimum wage laws, PF contributions by low paid labour (less than Rs 10,000 pm). 2. MNREGA should be extended to labour on a farm. 3. Apprenticeship programs should be extended to service industries, where inexperienced staff can be employed for 3 - 5 years on a fixed stipend, increased annually, mutually agreed between the employer and employee. No minimum wages, PF etc should apply here. When they are highly employable, they will automatically get jobs which pay well. more
Sir, First of all we must determine if there are people wanting to do job for survival? Quite often we find that you have a small, short job to be done say masonry repair or earth removal or plumbing work and you look for persons to work and you do not get any one. You go to Labour square in city and look for a couple of days work, you are asked questions like what is the job? will he be paid advance etc. In fact job seeker is trying to dictate terms to job offering person. In such circumstances how can you say that additional job requirement is essential? We had a maid cook who was trying to help persons from her village to find jobs - very good work. She was reading NEWS paper to find jobs of Peon, or Watchman only - because, according to her these jobs do not involve much physical effort and do not require much education. Registering name in the Employment exchange should be compulsory. As per their ability - educational and physical, They should be directed to suitable jobs in Private Companies. They must report loss of job or continuation at least once in a year say every February. If he fails to keep the job at three paces that remark should appear on the card. Employment card should be linked to Adhar card. RYK. On Tue, 19 Sep 2017 17:27:18 +0530 "LocalCircles Manager" wrote > more
