Suggestion for handling land bill disputes

We believe that your government is making sincere efforts for the welfare of common people and amendments in land bill are done with those pious intention. I appreciate the way your government has participated in debates to clarify all these intentions. But still there are a lot confusions and lot of politics is being played out on this matter.

To clear the air, my suggestion is that your government should take a particular set of villages as model villages and apply your policies in those villages. In that way people would be more clear about the agenda behind those amendments and people of those villages who will be benefited by your policies will act as the brand ambassador for promoting it in all over country. Secondly, since this is a serious issue which would impact the life of lots of people, so by these experiments your government would receive feedback about what all further changes are required so that nobody would become a victim of any unintentional interpretation of this law and also the discrepancies which may crop up while implementing this law.

Since there is always a gap between the theoretical explanation and practical implementation and if such a thing is related with the life of a number of common people, then great care should be taken so that people must understand the rationale behind all such decisions. The success of a policy is not in its creation but in its successful implementation. Such an experimentation would enable your govt. to promise the people that it would revert back all its decisions if they would result in more losses as compared to the gain desired from them. more

I think Haryana can be also benefitted with the help of such a policy. Since it is near the NCR region, it can reap the benefits of better influence from Centre. Since this is the first time when BJP government got chance to rule in Haryana, it would be a good opportunity for them to show that they are working for the progress of this state. Also with the help of good agricultural and research institutes, these experiments can be boosted with some innovations. European countries, for e.g. Germany has developed such an infrastructure in their villages that they have their own system for generating electricity, and other systems which are making their villages self-sustainable. I am quite interested in knowing whether our government has such kind of plans in their agenda. more
