Taking banking fraud to new heights - Bank of Baroda

So friends not sure how many of you bank with Bank of Baroda but think bank employees took consumer fraud to new heights.

The management put pressure on employees to increase downloads of their app.

To do the same, employees downloaded the app amongst friends family cleaner guards others on their phone numbers and linked bank account details of random customers to it. Imagine what can be done.

every phone was linked to 47 accounts just to get the numbers up.

More details are below but every single person in senior management at this bank should be shown the door.

And it must be investigated how many other banks are following such practices

I'm a customer of BOB since 43 years. Never experienced or heard about similar complaint. Haven't heard about the mishap/malpractice mentioned in this post (recently) from anyone, including BOB employees. An investigation is warranted. Guilty/errant must be appropriately punished. Also; rumormonger, if any, must be treated nicely. more
Wrong doers should be punished severely and quickly. more
The names should be made public.... more
These are crooked ways of earning commission and promotion in service by flaunting number of customers added. The senior management is responsible for such policy initiatives. The persons responsible should be demoted. more
Whether Baroda bank or others, how fraudsters get our bank details and call CG citing our account in so and so bank etc. I used to receive calls from hackers with my details. Means, every Bank has either weak software or insiders handiwork in leaking sensitive details to fraudsters. more
