Tatkal Booking
I wish to share difficulties faced during Tatkal Booking on 24th & 25th October,2019. I faced several hurdles while booking Ticket for my son as he was on duty during 10-11am. First,System was not accepting payment through IRCTC SBI card or net banking. After the payment was made through Debit Card and confirmation received from the Bank, IRCTC says that Ticket is booked and issued ID100002102934037 subject to confirmation from the bank. IRCTC did not issue PNR because confirmation not received from the bank. This happened 3 times with payment made through SBI,ICICI bank on next day also. I spoke to IRCTC and send several mails. I realised that It is not possible to book Tatkal Ticket by general public. Even if you are successful, you get only waitlisted Tatkal Ticket. more

Booking Tatkal ticket in this buzy world that too in India is like sale of hot and fresh cakes. you must be in queue from first second when the quota opened. booking through online is like keeping light filled up with oil in the heavy wind that means you may get confirmed ticket or waiting list or regretted one.its better go to station and book the ticket at first second.no belief in these online tickets servers may be hanged at any time more
