The Agent - Railway tkt nexus continues

Even after all the initiatives by Railways, the travel agent- railway official nexus continues fearlessly in India.

Have a ticker which is waitlisted 1,2,3 in a north south express and another one that is waitlisted 5,6,7 through an agent. Agent says - sir your will never get confirmed but I guarantee you I will get my 5,6,7 confirmed.

I want to know what Suresh Prabhu and his team is doing to end this nexus between railway staff and these agents. more

These agents with collaboration with Rly staff, use Ministers quota and they get you confirmed. There is clear cut nexus. more
If this agents or dalals are stopped then who will get extra income for railway staffs more over these agents will loose work increasing unemployment...so this will continue.. more
I fully agree with Mr Rautela. These agents are misusing the quota system with the help of railway staff. Govt must reduce the quota seats and also keep a strict watch on the allotment of these seats. more
The Minister is doing his level best from cleanliness to corruption. Blaming may not help. Compare the situation what was three years before and as of now. Mr. Mittal can directly tweet to the railway minister furnishing the train number, journey date and other details so that action is possible. more
Barking News: Mr. Prabhu announces that It has been decided that corruption haffttakhor lot chori are the fundamental and universal right of every railway men and criminals who raise fingers at Railwaymen shall be tried by a special count and hanged to death. How can people of India raise voice against my beloved Railwaymen and what is wrong if they are involved in corruption afterall it is national religion of India. more
When a ticket is booked thru an agent, I understand they have a choice of seat selection. But when I book my ticket online do I have the option of selecting a preferred seat?. On numerous occasions i was given the middle row seat with passengers sitting face to face and there is no leg rood. It is very difficult especially for senior citizens and differently able persons. Moreover it is very difficult to avail the electric vehicle transport at the stations. more
