The End

The way India has handled COVID 2.0 is evident from
The attached video. No oxygen, delayed testing, no ICU beds, no space for cremation, mis managed and delayed curfews and lockdowns, young people dying everywhere, we I am sad to announce are right now the worst in the world. 315,000 cases yesterday were at 30000 a month back.

Open your eyes. Look after yourself and your family because those in power center or state dont care. It is the END and those who think India is handling this well, you will change your opinion when a loved one gets admitted for COVID to a hospital. I really hope and pray they dont.

The scale of our tragedy: 8 out of 20 pages in Sandesh newspaper’s Rajkot edition contain obituaries today. There are 152 obituaries with photos of the deceased. There are 133 text-only obituaries in a single page. Total 285 more
High Court had to pull up Gujarat Government for under reporting deaths. There's 2 kms long queues of Ambulances (with patients) outside costliest Hospital in Ahmedabad - Zydus Hospital - the waiting ambulance is hoping that an ICU bed will get vacant. How? Either a recovered patient or the patient dies leaving the bed for another. Humanity has come down to this level that we are counting and comparing population and deaths - numbers. Another youth who lost his mother ran from pillar to post to get ambulance or hearse van to take his mother for cremation. After 5 hours and no results, he lost patience and buying some woods he went on to cremate her in the adjacent playground besides the residential area. Video went viral and some residents complained of ashes being blown inside their dwelling place. Police then swung into action to arrest the youth. Where were these people when the youth was seeking help for a decent cremation for his mother. Her death would also be an addition perhaps 31,5001. more
Insensitive comments Dipak & KC Rana. You can afford to make these comments because you're perhaps sheltered and living in assumption that you/your family would not be affected. I know a family who were very cautious, followed the hygiene and sanitization, yet they were struck and struck badly. Ruchika's endeavor in sharing the BBC clip is to wake up such people from false slumber. I have seen people in Tamil Nadu - moving around bravely last year November and they were looking at us wearing mask as if we were from Mars. Later when the tide struck the city, people were hiding behind their masks. Same goes for our Political Leaders too. more
Our population is around 140 crore and the number of 315000 cases is not big. In over populated countries such situations are very common. However, the States Administration need to be re-surrected to meet the ever increasing demands created by the spread of corona. As no State has enforced covid guidelines during the last more than 6 months, it seems the worst is yet come. more
When the pandemic ended slightly and things were getting to most normal, the people in power and those who were doing business started to loot the poor and the public. Petrol and diesel were at astonishingly high rates although the government had procured enough fuel at cheap prices during the pandemic. Grocers raised their prices almost 25%. All industries, including salons cheated the common man. The prices of bread, milk, vegetables, meat and just about everything went up. Therefore it was the universe who brought the pandemic back with such velocity that it will be hard to recover. I just hope that the same is not repeated otherwise we will come to an end. more
