I recently tried to book two berths through the new website of IRCTC. Thrice I reached the stage where you fill in the passenger details. After doing so, when I confirmed the booking, the system said, "please wait". Absolutely nothing happened even after waiting for over 15 minutes on each occasion. On the fourth attempt I could go through and book the berths. This is very annoying. Please fix this and similar issues to help us. Also, the previous site was much more user friendly wherein we were not confused and disturbed by unwanted advertisements. The new site is not user friendly at all. more

you are right there are many other irritants as well. IRCTC should do some thing about it. Another problem I have faced is that I am not able to modify my profile and enter my adhar no enable you me to book more than six tickets in a month. more
I have faced the same problem. In fact I wanted to book a ticket in tatkal but due to this unfriendly site, all 63 seats filled in minutes and no option left. I had to fill too much information and with each new required information, captcha changed. it was so irritating.
