The pinch to upper middle class down below

One gas cylinder used to cost around 700 Rs in 2019, now it is 1100 Rs.

Similarly (recent data)
[1] Critical medicines up by 12-15%
[2] Insurance up by 15-20%
[3] Electricity rose by 14%

Nation's GDP is going up. But, people continue to struggle

[1] Who gets the gains?

- The wealth for top 10% has constantly gone up, but the wealth for bottom 90% has constantly gone down.

- So if the GDP goes up by 100Rs, 75 goes to top 10%

I really hope that people develop some rational thinking around this topic.

And, look above politics. Right now, you might celebrate the creation of massive infra monopolies.

The same monopolies would come back and start charging you 3X the price for water, gas, electricity

And, then you would wonder: why are things getting so expensive?

Because we celebrated the systemic killing of competition.

[2] Such a model is called as capitalising the gains, and socialising the losses.

[3] Socialising the losses:

You will say that NO, I did not pay anything. Well you did in the form of higher taxes and invisible high inflation.

And more than the rich. more

I think Modi Govt have lost total control on INFLATION, specially in MODI 2. Probably they to go slow on other activity and give relief to Middle class. Take the case of Non Pensioner Senior Citizens, who totally depend on FD interest and Mutual Fund Investments and both are going down. Inflation is much more then earning. If Govt does not give relief then probably they may loose forthcoming States and National Elections. Another solution is strict Population Control and throwing out Infiltrators. Also Hard core Criminals and Economic Offenders must be given Capital Punishment. This will also help in Reducing Population. more
Because all the things in olden days had been subsidized. more
but when did the top 10% not controlled 75% i will say they have always controlled 90 % of any countries assets and liquidity . i had read an article some 10 years more ago where an american had blamed that 90% of money was in the hands of americas 10% top so even a developed nation is based on the same principle . presently there is a video viral about bill gates where he had earned billions by investing in pharma during covid and was being interviewed by a journalist who asked if u have zero knowledge of medicines what right bill gate has to dictate terms of pharma policies to American govt. , he clearly said it is the top 1% who make policies for rest of the world and this is how the world works , then she asked " where is TIMOTHY Paterson now from whom u purchased DOS operating system for $50 " , Bill gates removed his mike and walked away from the TV interview . for all the local circles readers DOS operating system was the first OS against which bill gates started his company Microsoft and earned millions , then same bill gates purchased windows OS from another programmer and paid him $25000 and made billions . THIS IS HOW THE WORLD WORKS .....THEY SAY ........ more
We have to pay income tax, GST, toll tax and every tax which is possible from government side but no relief on anything. I am expecting that in few years government will impose tax on sunlight and air also. For 15 years old vehicles, government is charging very heavy taxes in the name of green tax and registration charge is also more than 3 to 8 times. Green tax for two-wheelers is 2000 and re-registration charge is 1000 and four-wheeler it is 5000 and another 5000 as re-registration charges. Although there is an improvement in the quality of petrol not the engines. The emission values are almost same in the case of 15 year old and new vehicles. more
Gains are wiped out because of increasing population. This has to be controlled. more
