Ticket Receipts- Data deletion by IRCTC
Dear Readers,
I am unsure if you have experienced this but probably IRCTC might be the only company who might be doing this. I tried to get my journey data for the financial year 2017-2018 and it seems IRCTC will not show you anything. Historical data as per IRCTC is only for one month. But your page is full of google ads which means every login is tracked by irctc.
Every bit of India is sold ... atleast have the courtesy to keep the travellers data on record. Not everyone takes a print of the ticket. All travellers just show the sms. Put the ERS is required by anyone and everyone who is filling their taxes... Oh yes ..worst part... even if you give your GST no its of no use. The Ta invoice by irctc is a farce.
I hope someone eases mine and the frustration of 1000s of travellers who have to deal with this issue. BTW try sending a mail to care@irctc.co.in and they will reply you without even reading the contents. CHARACTERS of government organisation! more

What kind of data can be expected from the railways? It can only provide the particulars of tickets purchased during a specified period. Is it difficult for the individuals to maintain such data for their future reference, when needed? Ticket purchasers & travellers in trains each year are several crores and continuance of such huge records for a longer period is certainly difficult and expensive. more

With the current state of affairs, entire country is sold lock stock & barrel under the guise of digital-India. We are all puppets of such innovative ideas by the top-heavy net savvy government, which if left to themselves, would definitely devour us and the day is not too far. more

There should be a separate statistics dept which can take care of data. Thus this server also will not be slowed and if any one want data just like muneem / accountant, railway can provide the same on chargeable basis. more
