Ultra processed foods must be RED labelled

I want all Indian parents of young children to see the attached picture that I took last month when at a department store in US.

See how an entire shelf is dedicated to just oreo. Soon this will happen in Indian stores retail or online.

If the Government doesnt act on creating consumer awareness we will have serious crisis in India when the current teenage generation grows up addicted to this crap, eats it regularly and passes on consumption of such products as a must in every household in the next 15 years to their children. more

We should educate general public about the ill effects of all such h eatables. How govt. can control such things as it has already got numerous non functional and non accountable institutions . more

there has to be some standards with respect to what next generation health children and parents are also equally responsible and govt can standards ensure good healthy products are manufactured. more
