People support stringent lockdown at hotspots, but want relaxations in other areas during unlock 1. The lockdown has its impacts, which include psychological stress, financial hardships, disruption in education of children and miseries to migrant labour. As virus is going to stay longer, a compromise is required to live with it with change life style, self-discipline and personal hygiene. Priority should be given to get economy back on its feet, but with caution that will help to bring back the migrants and improve economy of country more
It may not be wrong to say that the country is now slowly but surely entering the unlock-phase of the Covid-19 era. This unlocking is primarily encouraged by the fact that the recovery rate has reached almost 50 %. Also, now is time to strike a balanced compromise with the economic engine which must finally re-roll to provide relief. This activity may lead to certain risks, but then, wins and losses are never unconnected. Suggestions of pan-India lockdown for a period of time cannot be realistic. Unexpected and undesired interruption in the economic/industrial activity of the country has already brought the GDP down and the borrowings shot up exponentially. The looming dragon of "unemployment" will not go without leaving its traces behind. more
The word unlock is more appropriate than lock down. We should try to live with Covid-19 besides adopting the prescribed hygiene tips of AYUSH Ministry. Otherwise, our country will become underdeveloped rather than developing. Now, the responsibility to contain COVID-19 is more with the public than the Government. Every one should be a Corona Warrior. more
I think by now Government would have realised that Lockdown after Lockdown is not a solution. Initial lockdown of 21 days was ok to ramp up the medical facilities. However it was announced without advance notice to public. This resulted in unemployment of lakhs of workers all over India. It brought untold miseries to migrant labour who were forced to walk hundreds of Kilo metres for reaching home. Lockdown word has caused problems for every one and increased avenues of corruption. It has damaged economy. Time has come for us to live with Corona virus and lead a normal life. Every citizen is now fully familiar with precautions to be taken viz. washing of hands, use of mask, social distancing (Do gaz doori) etc. to protect himself. more
Like Japan, governments should come out of lockdown fixation and should use media to go on sending warning about getting Covid virus if the required precautions are not followed. more
