Unsolicited messages survey in papers

Sanjana, this LocalCircles survey is in todays Economic Times. Clearly seems like whatsapp platform is being used to target consumers by the same companies that send sms.

LocalCircles Manager please share the full report and also advise which Govt bodies will u be escalating this to? more

It is nothing new that whatsup+fb form a nexus for activities of their choice. Adds form a backbone for everybody, to be controlled by individuals and Group policies by admin. more  
By now i am resigned to this menace, i have at least 20 emails in my spam folder & i clear spam folder every day, this despite the fact that i have blocked most of the regular spammers. there was a time when I had more than 40 mostly from Amazon, now reduced after the amazon application was deleted, mind you i had not installed Amazon application. probably they are capable of installing it remotely. more  
As soon as I open my email account, unwanted/ vulgar videos appear on the screen and takes 1-2 minutes to remove them. It causes delay in reading the mails and also consume my data. It has become a big source of nuisance. more  
There are lot of spam messages floating around in various social media platforms and one needs to be careful what to believe .Being educated we must use our judgement in identifying these . more  
I get SMSes regularly advertising items mentioned in the attachment. more
