Higher Interest Rates are one of the basic thing for Non Pensioner Senior Citizens to Survive. They survive mainly on Interest and SWP of Mutual funds. We feel the Interest Rates for Senior Citizens (SCSS) must be increased to atleast 9%. more

A rise in interest rates adversely affects the budgets of the loan takers but in the same time, it brings smiles on the faces of those who are fully dependent on interest earnings on their life-long hard-earned money. Any reduction in the interest rates payable on their deposits puts immense hardships on the livelihood of many of them. Any rise in interest rates on borrowings adversely affects all of us directly or indirectly irrespective of class. It would be wrong to say that the people who belong to the so-called upper-middle class only suffer under such a situation. On the contrary, people in this category with comparatively better economic backgrounds should have little effect on such a rise in interest rates. Are various taxes known to be the main sources of government revenues, really, the killers of the nation's economics? A brief clarification on the issue would be helpful for people like me to realise its gravity. more

Why you ane others. Why blame AAP. The majority party is BJP. Why should they follow others. We put BJP in power for all the ills of the past. Why are they also following the same policies blaming others. The party is interested in building infrastructure and imitate foreign countries instead of taking care of the poor and down trodden. We should encourage investment and incentivise business and create jobs. Do not keep blaming the opposition for everything. It is ok to do that during election season. After that pleas concentrate and do what people expect you to do. The middle class is not starving as some people claim. Most of them earn well and spend well. Look at the number of cars and high raise buildings and look at the travel and Hospitality industry. Where is the money coming from and how do the people enjoy. Think about it. Stop corruption by severe punishment. Stop the vIP culture. Why and how the people in power are exempt from following the rules. We hear so many hit and run accidents and the people in power escape. VIP culture is shown even in temples. People contest in election to enter politics and make money. Politics has become big business . It is nit to serve the public but loot the public. BJP blames Congress and vice versa. The TV News is a shameful display of our country. There is corruption everywhere. Government can Pat themselves for bringing Progressive Rules. But who and how it is enforced? more

Yes, very well to say Middle Class do something but WHAT can we do and WHAT should we do. With the dollar rate rising to all time levels and the rates of all essential commodities rising almost 50%, just like that, because the BJP has come into power, baniyas and shopkeepers just keep the prices rising, so what do we do. Only the government can put a stop to it. Let the LOC take it up on a war footing. more
