Vaccine Hackathons at play

Techies in Bangalore to get vaccine appointments are using python scripts that ping CoWin's public API and setup notification alerts via Telegram, Twitter or SMS.

Yes, the vaccination drive is now officially a hackathon.

No wonder most of the commoners cant get appointments more

All Govts have to understand one thing. Still there are many Citizens, specially Senior Citizens and uneducated or Poor, who are not familiar with computer or do not have access to these things. Govt should have a group of Facilitator who can help such people and they should be available on a call and should come to their home to give service. They can charge some reasonable amount for such service. more  
State government must take immediate action in the matter to stop such haking activities. more  
Can the IT technocrats are so immature to surrender before the hacking technology that they can not catch hold of the culprits. more

The Union Government / Health Ministry must immediately intervene and lodge cyber crimes against these hackers , who are trying to flout the system. This is a serious crime and must be dealt accordingly. more
