Vaccine immunity waning fast for Astrazeneca/Covishield vaccine

Important new study on immunity (anti-spike Ab) waning and breakthrough infections after AZ & Pfizer vaccines in >5500 people

1. AZ far more pronounced and earlier waning than Pfizer & more breakthroughs
2.Anti-S correlated w/ risk of breakthroughs

The research is attached. And it indicates to stay protected Indians who have taken Covishield or Astrazeneca vax will need booster soon if they want to stay protected. more

Actually, a member of the Poonawalla informed my daughter and me to take the second dose after three months or 84 days. I did that and although I am diabetic and take precautions, I am safe up till now, though I will go in for a booster dose after 8 months. more  
I think Immunity reduces over a period of time. I have taken first dose in March 21 and Second dose in April 21. But in October 21 I had Covid and was Hospitalised for 11 days. Similar is the case with my Wife. It means Immunity reduces over a period of time. more  
In addition to these useful information, I wear mask, maintain prescribed distance, and avoid going to crowded places whenever possible. All the pertinent research and medicines are still in infant stage. Until I feel comfortable with available information, I plan to follow the safety steps. Side-benefits for me are I haven't gotten allergy in two years, and the annual influenza has been absent. Fingers and toes crossed... more  
Test studies may be there but final results cannot yet be announced with certainty. Hence, we are all swimming in a whirlpool of uncertainty and wishful guesswork. Nothing else remains but for us to "take care of ourselves"..... more  
The cautious & Scared peoples should take Vaccine dosages every year. Not to ask other peoples to follow them. The double Vaccinated peoples have died including doctors. more
