Vaccines being Forced

What Localcircles is raising here is a very genuine concern. I share evidence of what is happening to force people to take COVID vaccine.

If the Govt has not authorised mandatory vaccination, should the DM of this district be taken to court?

This is not how you convince people and fight vaccine hesitancy more

In India also the vaccination against Covid-19 is voluntary. But how to advocate the importance of vaccination may differ from person to person and Use of appropriate language is necessary more
I have seen a video yesterday where in hospital staff dressed ladies selling vaccination. The language in which these ladies were selling vaccination was in TAMIL While lots of people are queuing up for vaccines or centers are kept as far at 100 km, the needle one to travel all the way for dosage of vaccination, by spending huge amount for travel and roughly Rs. 1000 to rs. 1500.00 per dose vaccination. How can some one justify forceful vaccination, that too, may be at a price. It appears some unscrupulous elements are behind this forceful vaccination. more
It is very unfortunate that you treat a person like animal are sent for sacrifice. This is not the way. Highly effective grass root campaign has to be undertaken which penetrate through masses. more
All over the first world people voluntarily get vaccinated. In India, with a fragile healthcare service, vaccination is essential unless the person has a known medical condition that prohibits its use, not just because he got his gyan from an overdose of WhatsApp anti vaccine messages. Sure, vaccination may have unexpected side effects on one in a lakh, but that is no reason to shy away from being vaccinated. In my childhood days (1950s), I have seen people (even those who were reasonably educated) hiding themselves when the corporation health officials came around for small-pox vaccination. But only by mass immunisation dreaded diseases like small pox and Polio could be eradicated. It is alright for armchair pundits to complain about human rights, individual's choice etc. but in the end society's wellbeing should take priority. Remember Sanjay Gandhi? He even forced sterilisation on people. So don't blame Modi at every opportunity. more
Mr. Sahni, its not free in many hospitals( as Doc. atleast you should not lie on public forums) and if you are regular with news some states are going to charge for it soon. @ Sneha Goyal, this with the above video proof, the nurse/ helper/ Supervising doctor of the concerned facility have voilated the basic Human Rights conferred by the ever respectful Indian constitution. Further to the above citation, do the people forcing on anyone whos about Medical background of the person, what if he develops some serious ailments who would bear the costs to that Mr. Sahni? more
