Vehicle Scrapping Policy

I agree folks let us escalate this. Old cars should not be scrapped based on age but based on kilometers.

We have lots of people esp senior citizens who have a small car for around the house work. Just having them change the vehicle based on some policy makes no sense. more

If the condition of the light vehicle is good and well maintained, it should be allowed to ply. more
I fully agree. This is rubbish and harassment. I have a vehicle which ran only 25000 km in last 12 years and the car is in perfect shape as per pollution guidelines. Automobile lobby should be stopped. more
DEAR VASUDEV KUMAR WHAT ABOUT SCRAPPING OF YOUR HOUSE LIKE VEHICLES? THEY ARE ALSO HAVING THEIR LIFE AS WELL. PARLIAMENT HOUSE IS BEING DEMOLISHED BECAUSE IT HAS LIVED ITS LIFE BUT YET IN GOOD SHAPE. more
This is not good policy. Only for common people harassment and penalizing t hem. more
I also agree to it that the age alone should not be the criteria to scrap a car. There is no rule that one has to run the car a minimum kilometres to possess a car... One may be using it less and hence maintaining it nicely. If the car meets the standards set, then why should one scrap it? After all, marking more and more cars also leads to global warming.. more
