Very high Real State cost in India --- An obstacle in India's progress

In India almost at most places rate of property is very high. It will took whole life income of a hard working salaried person, to purchase a home. Is it fair, to spend all your life's hard work to get a place to live.
Those who are owning the property have become millionaires without any hard work.

Now let me talk how it is affecting growth, now suppose I want to start a business, I have to spent huge money on rent, which will deter me in starting a new business. Even if I start anew business, I will pass the rent's burden on my customers. It ultimately is fueling the inflation. If we curb on real- state's cost we can easily curb inflation, and country will progress rapidly. more

We all know that transactions in property account for 50% black money in circulation and is the main reason for high prices of land. This malady can easily be restrained if the government is serious in eradicating black money deals in property transactions by adopting the following procedure. The government may start a special for auction of property and no property be registered till it is put on such a portal for a month for e-auction at bids higher by at least say 5-10% of the price as finalized by the person intending to register the property. Further in view of large requirement of housing and shortage of available land, no construction less than four floors be allowed and cooperative housing be encouraged for building high rise towers. more
When once the Black Money and Corruption ended with independent Policing , the land costs will fall if the government take up the Re-Survey of Land and set appropriate. more
It is due to builder lobby which has taken the advantage of the situation with the help of previous govt & corrupt politicians. This govt is expected to rectify this as much as possible. But we cannot expect too much on this quickly. The land is limited & the population is exploding making land scarce. On the top of it Rahul Gandhi's propaganda advice to farmers not to sell their land as it will become 10 to 15 crore as against present 50 lack to a crore will restrict the supply of the land. more
