VVIP Culture

VVIP with 45 car cavalcade in Mumbai the financial capital of India.

Can LC manager take up this issue. They are making a mockery of getting rid of lal batti campaign

I have given up completely on TOi and ETs of the world to take up any public issue. Like some other members Aug 31 was our last physical paper delivery. They are mouthpieces of brands more

Mr. Govind should be congratulated on his remarks. It is true that the LC is not taking up main issues. In Mumbai, the security guards of ministers run around in cars worth Rs.15 lakhs each and there are plenty more. Why should politicians waste our public funds on their personal use? Can the PM not see this. He is too busy going abroad to look to the inconveniences of the common man. more
Challan them Rs. 1 lakh per car more
The vIP culture will continue, because, all politicians are inhuman, else, these polticians feel prowd to have hundreds of vehicles on their front and back. The security don't even allow a critical patient, lady in labor or a patient with cardiac to reach the health center, unless the VIP passes the road. Recently a marriage of an industrialist attended by several country heads, celebrities and other VIPs, holding the air Port in Ransom for more than 24 to 48 hrs forcing cancellation of flts., making many international travellers stranded. more
The solution is " Make only two cars allowed for Politicians" Otherwise charge Rs. 100000/- Per car". more
CMs of small States should not be allowed to have planes. In case of emergency, they can hire plane. This will save crores of rupees p.a.
Punjab is a small State. CM has opened camp office at Jalandhar which is at distance of 120 km. He can go there once in a week by car from Chandigarh, if any exigency is there. He is having plane also. more
The VIP culture is very difficult to remove because it has become a status symbol for politicians even at lower level block president, counsellor, MLAs to move with crowd and cars to show their clout. more
