What's not working well - State Governments
Dear Friends:
On the same lines as the Central Government post, here we would like to seek your specific inputs on what is not working well in the State Governments of India (independent of the political party running the state)
The idea would be to compile the collective view and share with Senior Government Leaders in both Central and State Governments and with all others interested.
Again, the idea here is to improve State Government delivery so it is in line with what citizens voted for or want from the elected.

Famous annual festival in Khatu from 24 Feb to 2 March attracts 30 Lac+ people. There is lot of unawreness amongst common citizens on most of the things. It should be known to the common man that if the civic body work like road repairs, road rebuilding, traffic, pollution control, etc. are not in order, who is the responsible authority with its contact details. A monthly "Darbar" or meeting of various authorities with common man can be organised wherein such issues can be brought to notice. Ideally, at the bottom level in cities, such meetings can be called by the Corporators. Such meetings should not be political party meetings. Media can play a very important role in bringing about change for good. more
