Why exchange of 2000 is not being stopped

This localcircles survey is going everywhere in whatspp groups saying people support this move of Govt.

https://www.localcircles.com/a/press/page/2000-rupee-note-exchange

However most people aren’t questioning why exchange is being permitted. With unlimited exchange soon all black money will be converted. Contractor will
Again make 200 labour stand in line and the bank managers will again misuse aadhaars they have with them if even any information was needed. This is either bad ignorant design on part of RBI and Govt or done by design so people arent unhappy before elections.

But this is a wasteful move in its current form. Too much confusion also in ground. With poor demonetisation execution, the Govt and RBI could have done so much better.

Approximately 50 % rupee 2000 notes returned. clarified that the INR 2000 currency notes were introduced in 2016 to primarily replenish the notes withdrawn following demonetization and the purpose achieved, checking black money removal, been fulfilled. Black money wasteful. UPI in place. Ecommerce booming in the range of 10 lakhs crores rupees a month. more
