Why is tatkal ticketing still messed up after 20 years
Issues while booking Tatkal ticket.
1. Will be logged out before 10.00 am
2. Difficult captcha
3. Processing of payment will take time untill all seat not get booked.
4. Payment system/getaway not easy for all
5. Failed transaction

System of tatkal ticket booking is in favour of booking through illegal software. Therefore, tatkal ticket booking is very difficult for general public. more

Very very true. I go for counter booking for doubtful availability. Indian Railways should realize that the present reservation system aids cheats. Once a customer is engaged with reservation with IRCTC a particular ticket, till that transaction is over other ones shouldn't be allowed to interfere. Probably we have also have to be quick in our transactions. more

The bookies and so called ticket booking agents are still there in the system , so they technically outnumbered the normal customers and booked tickets with as they wanted first, It is difficult to get a reservation at Tatkal during festival season. I am astounded that people are making reservations 120 days in advance. The Railway Department has these funds on deposit for 120 days in advance. more

Because railway itself is fully corrupted and working under mafia,so dont expect any improvement....Only for eye wash sometime railway minister will come-up with new announcements,but the system will be keep on worsening...This is DIGITAL INDIA. more
