Why Lockdown is a must

This daily case number is probably now around 30000. Below is the video shot by a friend who is in Goa at Baga Beach. This is the reason why India needs a lockdown. Watch it and only then share your comment. The state govt is failing or rather by design more focused on revenue extraction from tourists rather than their safety and safety of Goans. more

Why not lockdowns and restrictions ?
Daily COVID cases in India yesterday rose 36% to 22,775 cases on Friday as against 16,764 cases reported on Thursday. Cases of Omicron variant in India increased to 1,431 from 1,270 cases reported thursday. About 406 deaths recorded in the last 24 hours. Why are we not going for national state or district lockdown? I have a strong feeling that the country is being misled by vested interest into believing this MILD theory and in 2 months we will end up causing unimaginable disruption to society and life.

The writer should sit under lockdown, No need for any advice to common peoples. It is modified flu virus. The people who are making false propaganda should get affected. more

Government of India will never ever impose lock down as lock down has affected many and people have lost their jobs as well. Lock down means the government will have to compensate all those affected financially which in the present circumstances will not be possible. Free vaccines, free hospitalization, free medical expenses are eating away into our finances. more

All popular beaches, big temple/marriage functions, political rallies/gatherings, funeral events, etc should have restricted number of people. No of people in confined areas should be low. Lockdown is not the answer. Proper wearing of mask is necessary while in public. Leaders should show the way more
