Why public money to bail telcos

Why do the telcos need a bailout. Why were their senior management raking in big moolah when everything was going well.

Why has the Govt given them this bailout? Why are there no conditions. Cut those highly paid guys from payroll.

In addition to putting stress on govt finances these guys will increase prices by 30%.

Why is there no condition that says they must reduce call drop to 10% to avail the bailout of delayed payments?

The joke is always on common citizens. more

They(Banks, tel-cos) charge for every service from the public, even for their losses(Bailout). No questions asked and no conditions. Public has no say either in service charges or bailout. The public servants and representatives work for them not for public. more
Public money must not distributed like this more
Not only telcos PF office invested in DHFL which is incurring losses. Do PF office have any governing body to avoid misuse of PF subscriber s who are mostly low wage earners On Sat, Nov 23, 2019, 1:10 AM Shailesh Deshmukh more
My recent experience from one of the private TELECOMs who has received bailout(story is more or less the same for all): Earlier we used to get a very good signal (range) in our area, but recently for last 2-3 months, the signal quality is very poor (which I understand, is on the account of removal of several transmission towers(maybe a cost cutting measure by them at the cost of customer service). As a result, people are complaining that they are not getting connectivity for my call. Many of them contact on landline (which is currently a sick PSU) and I receive their calls without any problem. I received similar feedback from some people using other TELECOMs services. What for are they enjoying government support? Only to serve poorly to the customers and increase their price burden? more
Reality is: Common citizens are subordinates (Dash) of the Rich & powerful (God) which includes political leaders, industrialists/entrepreneur, our celebrities who always celebrate their success etc. Hence the bail out using public money is the only option to achieve the target: ''1% OF POPULATION WILL HOLD 100% OF WEALTH BY 2025''. A number of Nobel Laureates including Mr. Joseph Stiglitz believe it to happen. After all, we have to have maximum poor to make richness more profound! more
